Upon entering the creative/interactive industry, individuals are taught to pick a path and focus their energies on becoming either a designer or developer. Rather than viewing these disciplines as polar opposites, I believe there's a higher level of visual harmony, that can only be realized if you can push each of these fields to their limits internally. When people ask me if I'm a designer or developer, I don't really know what to tell them. I'm the weird gray area in between - I'm both - I'm a digital artist and creative technologist.

I do a little bit of everything. I entered this field as a designer and eventually worked my way up to becoming an art director. Through nurturing my skills as a 3D Artist and constantly experimenting in both digital (AS3, Unity, CG, iOS, Android) and physical spaces (Arduino, Kinect), my work natrually gravitated me toward the technical side of creative coding. This is what I do today, and I love it.
